The Color Kinetics PDS-400 48 V EO is a powerful outdoor-rated power and data supply engineered for large-scale Ethernet-based intelligent lighting systems, particularly within the iColor Accent Compact family. Designed to streamline installation and system integration, the unit combines both power and data transmission into a single cable solution, helping reduce wiring complexity, installation time, and overall project costs. It is well suited for color-changing and tunable white LED lighting applications such as architectural illumination, media facades, entertainment venues, and dynamic exterior displays.
Constructed with a durable IP66-rated cast aluminum housing, the PDS-400 48 V EO is built to withstand challenging outdoor environments, including exposure to moisture, dust, and varying weather conditions. Its convection-cooled design eliminates the need for active cooling components while supporting reliable operation in temperatures ranging from -40°F to 122°F. This rugged construction allows the unit to consistently deliver power and data to multiple connected iColor Accent Compact fixtures in demanding exterior installations.
The unit is designed for straightforward installation and maintenance with clearly marked terminal block connectors for Ethernet, line voltage, and fixture connections. A tethered cover with captive screws allows secure access during servicing, while multiple conduit entry points support both NPT and metric conduit configurations for added installation flexibility. For long-term serviceability, the internal power supply can be replaced using the PS-600 48 V without removing the complete enclosure from the installation.
Integrated onboard diagnostics provide visual system feedback through status LEDs that monitor Ethernet connectivity, device communication, and operating conditions. The PDS-400 48 V EO is compatible with a wide selection of Color Kinetics control systems, including Light System Manager, Video System Manager Pro, Antumbra iColor Keypad, and ColorDial Pro, while also supporting integration with select third-party controllers for scalable lighting control solutions.
Combining rugged outdoor durability, simplified wiring architecture, and advanced system compatibility, the PDS-400 48 V EO delivers an efficient solution for distributing power and data across sophisticated exterior lighting systems. We will ship via ground shipping service to addresses within the 48 contiguous United States for a flat shipping charge of $9.95 for all orders (except fluorescent tubes and fixtures over 5 feet).
Additional shipping and handling charges will apply to orders shipped outside the 48 contiguous United States (including Alaska, Hawaii and other U.S. Territories).

Are you thinking of switching to LEDs but not sure if the LED will work for you? No problem! Buy a few pieces of what you need to test and then send back what you don't like or purchase more if you do like. You can return any LED bulb or fixture within 14 days of receiving it for a full refund, including the original $9.95 shipping charge.
You will only incur the cost of returning the items to us. We will gladly find a way to help you test some items prior to purchasing large quantities. All items returned, must be returned in original manufacturer packaging, and in the same condition that they were received.

We stand behind the products we sell. If for any reason you are not satisfied with a purchase you may return a product within 14 days of receiving it. Absolutely no returns will be made after 14 days. Please inspect all products upon receipt. If an item arrives broken we will make arrangements to either refund or replace the item for you.
Custom orders, Color Kinetics items, large contract jobs (over $1500) and parts cannot be returned.
WARRANTY CLAIMS
We stand behind the products we sell. Warranty claims can be filed within the stated warranty period of the item. Superior Lighting will issue a replacement with the same item or a like item if the original product is no longer available. If no suitable product is available Superior Lighting has the discretion to process a refund or credit based on the amount of the warranty claim and/or duration of use.
