Mounting this exit sign is both fast and efficient, as the included mounting canopy allows for top or end mounting. It also features a universal knockout pattern on the back plate for wall installation, making it versatile for various setups. The illumination is provided by ultra-bright, energy-efficient red or green LED lights, ensuring maximum visibility. The electrical components include a dual voltage standard of 120/277V, with a charge rate/power “ON” LED indicator light to indicate operational status. The internal solid-state transfer switch automatically connects the internal battery to the LED lamp heads, providing a minimum of 90 minutes of emergency illumination. Additionally, a fully automatic solid-state two-rate charger initiates battery charging to recharge a discharged battery within 24 hours.

The aluminum mounting canopy simplifies installation, with options for top or end mounting and a universal knockout pattern on the back plate for easy wall mounting. The housing is available in a premium-grade aluminum finish, with options for black or white powder-coated finishes. Field-selectable knockout chevron directional indicators allow for easy customization, while the unique design enables double-face conversion on-site, and a quick-snap faceplate closure ensures a secure fit.

For added reliability, the self-diagnostic feature performs monthly, biannual, and annual tests to ensure dependable operation and compliance with electrical and life safety codes. This exit sign comes with a five-year warranty on all electronics and housing, with batteries pro-rated for five years. It is UL Listed for damp locations and meets UL924, NFPA101 Life Safety Code, NEC, OSHA, and local and state codes.

Warranty:

• 5-year limited system warranty standard
• Warranty does not cover product failure due to an over-voltage event (power surge), improper dimmer or control installation (as this may cause damage to the internal driver), or inconsistent amperage in the circuit. For installations where power surge may be possible, Superior recommends installing additional surge protection at the fixture or electrical distribution panel.
