This plastic edge-lit LED exit sign provides reliable, code compliant emergency egress illumination for commercial buildings, restaurants, hotels, healthcare facilities, and multi-family properties. The UV-stabilized acrylic edge lit panel ensures consistent, uniform illumination for maximum visibility.

Ultra-bright, energy-efficient red or green LEDs provide long-life performance with minimal maintenance. The universal single/double-face design includes a factory-installed mirror background panel and stick-on mirror sheet to support flexible field configuration. A unique bi-color LED indicator light clearly displays battery condition, green for normal operation and red to signal battery check providing added peace of mind for facility managers.

The 3.6V long-life, maintenance-free rechargeable NiCd battery delivers a minimum of 90 minutes of emergency illumination. An internal solid-state transfer switch automatically connects the battery to the LED board during power loss, and the fully automatic solid-state two-rate charger restores a discharged battery within 24 hours.

Available in a standard surface mount canopy for top, end or back mount, or with the optional recessed mount for ceiling and wall applications. The recessed-mount trim assembly is easily detachable from below for convenient service access. Self-adhesive chevron appliques and a guide template are included for directional indication.

• Warranty does not cover product failure due to an over-voltage event (power surge), improper dimmer or control installation (as this may cause damage to the internal driver), or inconsistent amperage in the circuit. For installations where power surge may be possible, Superior recommends installing additional surge protection at the fixture or electrical distribution panel.
